The Hikvision DS-K1T804A series is the tall, narrow version of Hikvision's fingerprint terminal, shaped to fit a door frame or a gang box. It stores 3,000 fingerprints, 3,000 cards and 100,000 events, runs access control and attendance together, and adds Wi-Fi, RS-485, Wiegand and an alarm input and output to the usual lock wiring. The AEF reads EM cards and the AMF reads MIFARE.

3,000 fingerprints and 3,000 cards is a modest ceiling for a large workforce. No IP rating is published, so it is an indoor unit (-10 °C to 55 °C), and the optical sensor struggles with worn, dry or dirty fingers.
