Hygienic attendance and controlled access for clinical environments

What goes wrong
The four problems healthcare operations keep hitting
Touch readers conflict with infection control
A shared fingerprint reader at a clinical entrance is difficult to defend to an infection control committee. Contactless verification removes the objection entirely.
Restricted areas require logged access
Pharmacy stores, controlled drug cabinets and medical records rooms need access restricted by role and logged for inspection, which a key-based system cannot evidence.
Clinical rotas are complex and on-call is real
On-call, night duty and rotating cover do not fit a standard shift template, and manual adjustment at month end reintroduces the errors the system was meant to remove.
Contactless face recognition for attendance, with card-based door access on pharmacy, records and restricted clinical areas
Meets infection control expectations, provides the logged access trail that health authority inspections ask for, and handles on-call rotas without manual correction.
This is our default starting point for healthcare, not a fixed answer. The survey exists to confirm or overturn it against your actual site.

Questions
Healthcare — FAQ
Is the system suitable for a DHA or DoH licensed facility?
Yes. The access audit log and staffing reports are commonly used to evidence staffing levels and restricted-area control during inspection. We can configure report formats to match what your facility is asked to produce.
How do we handle locums and visiting consultants?
Enrol with an expiry date matched to their engagement period. Access rights lapse automatically on the expiry date, which removes the risk of a departed locum retaining access to restricted areas.
Where is biometric data stored for a clinic?
Either on your own server on-premise, or in the cloud, depending on your facility's data policy. Clinical environments frequently choose on-premise so that biometric templates never leave the building. Terminals store an irreversible template rather than an image in both cases.
