What goes wrong
The four problems facilities operations keep hitting
Clients dispute whether contracted hours were delivered
An FM contract specifies hours per site. Without site-level evidence, disputed invoices become the client's word against your supervisor's, and the deduction usually lands on you.
Staff are spread across sites you do not control
Installing a terminal at every client building is neither practical nor permitted. Attendance has to follow the technician, not the building.
Deployment changes daily
Teams are reallocated at short notice, so a fixed device-to-site mapping is wrong by the time it is configured.
GPS-geofenced mobile clock-in as the primary method, with fixed terminals only at your own premises and the largest contracted sites
Attendance follows the technician across client sites without needing hardware or landlord permission at every building, while producing per-site evidence for invoicing.
This is our default starting point for facilities, not a fixed answer. The survey exists to confirm or overturn it against your actual site.

Questions
Facilities — FAQ
How do we prove to a client that contracted hours were delivered?
Run a per-site hours report for the billing period showing each technician's clock-in and clock-out with GPS location and, if enabled, a photo. Attaching that to the invoice moves the conversation from assertion to evidence, which is usually the end of the dispute.
Can staff cheat the GPS clock-in?
Mock-location detection is enabled by default and flags suspected spoofing rather than silently accepting it. Combined with photo capture on punch, the realistic risk is low. No system is absolute — but this is considerably stronger than a supervisor's signature on a paper sheet.
What if a technician has no phone signal in a basement plant room?
The app records the punch offline with the GPS fix it last held and syncs when signal returns. The record shows it was captured offline, so the supervisor can see the distinction rather than being misled by it.
