What is the ZKTeco FR1300 best suited to?

How does the ZKTeco FR1300 connect?

It supports RS-485 to controller. In UAE installations we normally run terminals on wired Ethernet, keeping wireless as the fallback where cabling is impractical.

Can the ZKTeco FR1300 be used for time attendance?

Not on its own — it is an access control device. It connects to a ZKTeco inBIO controller, which is managed in ZKTeco's access control software. If you need attendance as well, we pair it with an attendance terminal at the main entrance.
