Hikvision DS-K1T805 Series in the UAE

The Hikvision DS-K1T805 series is a slim metal card terminal for door frames, rated IP65 and IK08 and working from -30 °C to 60 °C. It stores 10,000 cards and 100,000 events, accepts card or PIN, and connects over Ethernet with RS-485 (OSDP) and Wiegand. The EX and MX are wired only; the EBWX and MBWX add Wi-Fi and Bluetooth door opening. E models read EM cards and M models read MIFARE.

Card and PIN only, with no biometric. EM models read at 0–1 cm against 0–4 cm for MIFARE, so users have to touch the card to the reader; for a new card system, MIFARE is the better choice.
