Questions

Common questions

What is the Hikvision DS-K1T809 Series best suited to?

Gates, outbuildings and single outdoor doors on a tight budget, or as a weatherproof Wiegand reader for an existing controller. Where it is the wrong choice: 1,000 users is the ceiling and no network is listed, so there are no event logs to review. Use the DS-K1T805 series if you need records or central management.

How does the Hikvision DS-K1T809 Series connect?

It does not connect to a network. The Hikvision DS-K1T809 Series runs standalone, with users added and removed on the unit itself, which keeps installation simple but means there are no central records.

Can the Hikvision DS-K1T809 Series be used for time attendance?

Not on its own — it is an access control device. It runs standalone with no software, or passes cards to an access controller over Wiegand. If you need attendance as well, we pair it with an attendance terminal at the main entrance.

Do you install and support the Hikvision DS-K1T809 Series across the UAE?

Yes. We supply, install, configure, train your team and support it across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. Call +971 56 614 2543 or message us on WhatsApp for a fixed written quote.
